Well well well… I promised you guys that I’d keep up you up to date, and that was a complete lie! I didn’t mean to lie, but it definitely turned into one. :-(
If you guys don’t know, I’ll be living in Africa starting in January 2009 til March 17th 2009.
The week of Nov 16th I spent a week in Hamburg Germany doing my mini outreach with a group of 9 girls and just me! It was pretty intense for all of us. Everyday became more challenging and harder for us to keep doing ministry. At the last day, while doing street evangelism, we all experienced something we have never seen or have been apart of before. It was pretty intense, mind opening and heart changing, that’s for sure. We just saw what God has for us more to conquer and to take over in His name and glory. If you want to know specific details, just hit me up on a comment and I’ll email you!
This next week at school is the “Plumbline” week. It is basically “freedom” week. This week we will allow God to search the deepest inner most of our hearts and souls to reveal things that we have thrown away, not wanting to think or experience again. It is basically a spiritual cleansing week. We allow God to throw out all the bad experience, words, actions that have been against us, and start over fresh. It’s way more intense than it actually sounds, trust me. But you come out as a new person and breathing in new air.
It’s winter time here in Herrnhut. We had snow for a week, but in one day it all disappeared. I wanted more snow! But I will not be able to see snow for another full year, since I’ll be living in Africa til March, then coming back to Germany… I only got to see snow once :-(. Oh well! Better things are to come!
